<p>Established at 1984, Vanke and Lenovo are both busy with their 25th anniversary at 2009. In the meanwhile, as a special case, Zhejiang Wanxiang Group was founded in 1969 and now becomes one of the oldest Chinese enterprises. Zhejiang merchants are all over the world and still on their way to develop. Clearly, the first remark of a successful enterprise is itslong history because the efforts of generations are possible to found a solid kingdom. So, the inter-generational relations are important for those enterprises. In fact, 40-year Wanxiang Group, 25-year Vanke and Lenovo Group are all career of one generation and their first chairmen are still participated in the decision-making management. At the same time, the successors are stepping forward under the guide of their parents.The concept of1.5 generation of Zhejiang merchantsproposed by WangyingXu, discusses the inter-generational relations in some typical Zhejiang long-history enterprises.<p>
